Are the weeds making a comeback yet? Last year the fishing was great up there until they sprayed the weeds......then it got tough...

Weeds are pretty scarce.

can you give me some information on hardy. I am fishing there for the first time and due to militayr obligations i cant pre fish like i wanted to. What info can you give a guy who has never been there. Thanks

Yeah our wonderful DNR decided it was in everyone's best interest to kill ALL the grass and lily pads in the lake. It used to be a really good lake. It was nothing to go there and catch 30 or 40 in a morning. Now........good luck is all I can say. I use to got here probably 20 times a year. Now its not even worth going anymore. Im sure the local community loves the reduced amount of fisherman coming through there in these financial times..

Well said,hit the nail on the head, have been 1 time in 2 years. Used to fish that lake 3-4 times a week. What a waste!
