How well did u do at Rocky Point? Any suggestions/locations/baits for guy that has never been there. We are launching from Rocky Point. I have never fished the River. Any baits I should use, things to look for or watch out for. things of that nature would be great!![]()
stay in deer creak a lot of release fish are there and it is good fishing too... most guys i know leave that area just so they can say i made a 60 mile run... IMO
What kind of baits are working? What kind of sturckture should I fish? DO you think they will be on points, flats, rocks what? I have heard tht the river can be tough if you dont know what u are doing.![]()
I would flip to every piece of wood you see... if you have a small boat or a jet boat i would go way up. the marina is good.. small tubes jigs buzz baits spinner baits anything just down sized a bit... its the river its tough.. milstone is good to and its close
Thanks for the information. I hope that it helps. THe other place your talking about, is it just east off the river. Seen on google map a creek off the main body, not as big as we talked about about but descent size
yepp stick around there lots of jugs and craws, had good luck with flukes in there too specially the minis,.i also like taking the trip down towards yellowbank way too though, but its hit or miss there,i prob wont make it to the next ojne but hopefully will make it back up there in next cpl of weeks
