Well I have an extra Lowrance Unit

I started off by replacing my X-102C with an X-125. The 125 is like new and a great unit but I had a change of heart and bought and LMS-480 to link up with my dash gps. So I have an X-125 head unit that I could make someone a great deal on. This is the head unit only. Would even consider trades.

Good to see you're back up Mike. I just got my replacement 480 up front. You're gonna love the link up.

Aaron, what did you link the 480 with?

I linked it with a second 480 at the console, all blue connectors, but the second unit which is the replacement 480 I just got from Lowrance had a red network port. I just got an adapter cable and it worked great. No issues and my older 480 catches a signal faster. So 480 (all blue) to a newer 480 (with red network and adapter cable. All I needed what a T, 1' cable extension and a 15' extension cable. You don't really need all of those T's and OHM caps. They just help the signal flow but without they work just fine.

It's pretty sweet and an easy upgrade, I've got to go back and do some reading to get the full effect out of having them networked together as far as sharing way points and trails. What are you hooking up to?
