    Dale this weekend

Fishing was very tough as was the weather. Fished all be 2 hours Sat. (Went in for the heavy rain) and managed only 5 all SM. Biggest was 20.25 inches. This am boated 2 small SM. The sun came out and we headed home. Hoped this morning was going to be good but it did not pan out. All fish were caught on the fly 14-16 ft. leader.

It was tough for us too. Smalljaw had a tourney and only 1 21" was weighed. Yesterday some guys had between 5-8 and plenty others blanked. Today was even slower for most.

I caught 3 fish all weekend and fished hard! As much as I like going down there, I'm not going back til the water is 48 or better. I was seeing 41 just about everywhere!

Matt I agree. I don't think I will get back down that way until Spring Break in the first of April.

I have really struggled this winter. I did find some warmer water in the back of Hendricks creek but could not buy a bite in the colored water.

I will. I'll apply the scripture from our lesson this past Sunday from the last chapter in the book of 2nd Thessalonians. "You have to work if you want to eat".....if You want a check you have to catch fish.

According to II Opinions that isn't fair. Unfortunately I can't catch fish, but hey, what better ministry to donate to than fishers of men and the pockets of someone else

I agree. I always have a great time. Catching fish is a bonus. One thing is for sure, I'm guaranteed 5 good meals this season.

I've found if you whizz in the water, the temp. rises a bit course it turns the fish on!
