Fishers of Men results for 1/10/09

We had yet another great tournament this weekend. 47 boats and a total cash payout of $5,450.00. Guys and Gals if you want to fish a great team trail come on out and join us. We will be back on the water in April at Barren River Lake. Also, the North Kentucky is starting back up on Yatesville in March and West Kentucky on Dale Hollow in March.

Top 5 for this weekend. Complete results can be found at http://www.fomntt.com
    1. Day and Brewer 18.74 plus big fish - 6.37 largemouth
    2. Wilson and Roberts 16.50 plus second big fish - 6.20 smallie
    3. Bowling and Combs 13.84 and big ole Kentucky worth mentioning 4.60
    4. Turner and Wells 11.47
    5. Owings and Appleby 10.40

Also a big thank you to the guys at Winners Marine for hosting our pre-tournament meeting. We had over 100 people in attendance. Also like to thank the rest of our local sponsors: Pittsburg Marine for giving away a free entry fee at every tournament, Days Boat Sales for offering a $500 bounty for anyone winning a tournament out of a boat from Days, and Cumberland Pro Jigs for providing quality door prizes.

I took a look at the Toho FOM results from the same day that were posted just above the Cumberland results. Its amazing that in January in Kentucky that you have more weight for first place and almost the same weight for second place as a Florida tournament.

Thanks for passing that along - I never even thought to compare the two. That is pretty amazing. My outlook on Lake Cumberland is starting to change.

I'm with you. I just now got to where I hate it. I used to wish it would go dry. Who knows maybe I'll move to greatly dislike by next winter.

well it can't get any worse . I am looking forward to the water coming back up, should make for 2-4 good years of spawns which that lake hasn't had in a long time.
