No Spark

My motor died on the water, it appears to have no spark. Motor turns over and the kill switch is in. Someone please give me a logical progression of things to check.

Verify no spark with timing light. Bad power pack.

Check for spark on all cylinders
No spark on all cylinders, check that kill switch is working, test stator voltage output, test optic eye sensor
Spark on one bank only, disconnect shift interupter switch and retest for spark
Spark on one or two cylinders, probably bad power pack

Get a OEM service manual or take it to your dealer

thanks guys. I've got a service manual, but its back at home - 3 hours away. Guess I should throw it in the boat! Regardless, we are back up and running. Thanks again!
