    Dale Results

All in all i had a pretty good trip, all the fish except for a couple were good fish. i had one over 21" and another that was in the 20" .she went 4#3oz and a lot of 18" and 19" fish. bite was slow but steady both days, i never fished any shallower than 25ft, all my bites and fish came between 35ft- and 47ft on a 3/4 jig. hit a couple of sweet spots at 47ft. and caught 3 fish off it, all nice fish. my smallest fish came on a drop shot. had a blast, thinking bout goin down next thurs. and friday too. all fish came on inside part of mainlake point and mouth of pockets. water temp was 64 degrees on thurs. and 63 on fri. during the rain. and it was a tough bite for my two buddies who tagged along, each caught one apiece and they just couldn't get that hook set in time.
here is the drop shot fish..

    here is the 20,

here is the over 21, it had the jig deep. thank god it wasn't in the stomach. i snapped some pics and got her back in quick. took a few minutes for her to get things straight, she took off with no problems

had a great time, can't wait to get back...we had sunny warm days, blue bird skies, rain, downpour rain, overcast, and wind. slow but steady bite all days

    Nice job, good looking fish.

The smallies are still deep, one or two weeks of temps at night in the 30s they will start moving into the pockets. We found all our good fish just off main lake.
