What to do,shop called and said the vro pump is starting to leak oil.I have 2 choices mix my oil or fix the pump.motor has 90 pounds comp. on all six holes so the motor is sound(low comp. engines in 86).The motor is on a 86 370 ranger in like new cond.Please give me the pros and cons of the vro. pump.

ProMarine has a double vacuum pump that you can get but you have to premix. BRP has a gas only that is the VRO with out the O and have to pre-mix or you can buy a new VRO. Not many choices.

Thanks championman,think i will suck it up and replace the vro pump.The pump worked well for many years.Only money,cheaper than a new ranger

Wise choice I recommend using the new four wire OMS pump.
