    Prop Seal Leaking? 200 Venom

The other day I went to start my motor, lowered it to put the water on it, and it had lower unit lube come out slowly from the prop exhaust...Would this be caused from the prop seal? the lube was clean. Do I have to drop the lower unit to replace this?

Pull the prop and check for fishing line near the rear bearing carrier. If you have the tools then it is not a big deal if you don't then take it to the shop so they can do it properly. If your water pump hasn't been replaced lately it would be an excellent time to do that also and have them pressure/vacuum test the lower. There is a seal under the water pump that can develop a leak.
