Friday and saturday on Dale

Friday there was NO wind. We caught six five smallies 3 in the slot but all over 4 lbs. 1 over 21 1 small fish on the fly and a 4+ large. Saturday was a little tougher with lots of wind we managed to boat 4. 2 @ 20 1/2 one 19 and one 18 all on the jig. Early in the morning my partner missed a bunch of fish. He was fishing a 3/4 oz jig.

Sounds like you guys had fun and a little scare with the motor not starting right away for you on Saturday. Gotta love those brownfish at the hollow!

Rob I had a blast. Some of the guys were disappointed with the catch but I told them I fish the Ohio river and two or three bites a day is normal but you don't get those Huge smallies at the end.

great report ....NO wind on Friday ---wow...don't think I'd know how to act without the wind...seems these past few weeks has been nothing but one big gust of wind across the H2O on DH..

We didn't fish THAT spot Bill. Matt did I think and caught a good one and Steve did the day before he and I fished and his partner caught another big ol bucketmouth out of there so they are still there.
