I just recently started posting and watching this board. I PM'd Mike to ask him some questions about a lake I am fishing my next BFL at. He was quick to help and refered me to Jeff at Legal Limit Lures. I left Jeff a message and he called me right back and will have my lures to me before I leave. I second that comment....2 great guys...mike I have been so busy with workI havent had time to order the keelshield..and Jeff I got a 5.4 on the (special color) jig a couple weeks back.. down at ky...I didnt get a pic though sorry
steve, was wondering about you,havent heard from you in awhile, I told you keep the faith it is a killer colr,any luck on the buzzbait? Been my toughest year on a buzzbait in at least 5 years I dont know what is up with tha? Jeff
I have thrown the buzz bait every trip out..not caught a one..its been really weird..have been wearing them out on my sammy though..I think the buzz bite will turn on here soon ...just my feeling...tell you what though..its the best looking buzz bait I have thrown ,I like it alot...I just need to get those fish on barren to eat something Jeff...
buzzbait bite for me has been non existant as well, Look for it to turn on though when water temp gets down about 75, should be good for about a month after that, I hope.
Well I caught one keeper which was what I needed to stay in the Regional and several shorts. Would have loved to had more, but I finished 35th in the tournament and 6th in Co-Angler Points. Now looking forward to KY Lake in October. BY THE WAY, CAUGHT MY KEEPER ON ONE OF MY NEW LEGAL LIMIT JIGS and a couple other fish on it too. Thanks again for all the help guys.

glad to hear it, 6th in the points is a great accomplishment, I looked at the results and it must have been pretty tough. Glad the jig helped you out, make sure to throw it down at ky lake in october it is usually pretty good down there. Should be heating up on a buzzbait as well down there, anything you need let me know.

On a sad note..Gill Hensley won the co-angler division and had the first day lead at the Super. After he weighed his fish on day one he had a heart attack in the parking lot and eventually passed away. Very bad deal. keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
