    Day one results

I got a fair amount done today. Got all of the deck and floor cleaned and the lids for the back deck done. The edges of the lids inside and out take the most time. I just hope I'm getting them clean enough. Tomorrow I'll finish the lids and wash the boat good and should be ready to put the carpet down..........when it gets here.

Here's some before and after shots.

Looks good Daniel. I think that is going to be one of my projects this winter. What are you using to take the glue off?

I used acetone. Don't bother buying the stuff at lowes made by henry. It's as useless as water.

I'm done with everything now. The carpet was shipped today so I should have it in time for saturday and finish up on next monday.

Hey D, you got alot done. Make sure to number your lids and have a diagram where they all came off of. Also when you start gluing carpet on the lids, make sure the carpet seam stays the same. Make sure the grain of carpet stays true across all lids and peices or they will appear to have a different look.

Nice job! They payoff is when she is finished.

I used a permanent marker when I took them off to label the lids. I knew I'd never get them back the same.
