We had our 4th club tournament of the year this past weekend at Raccoon where I rarely do any good. The day was overcast all day which should have made for a good topwater bite. Nothing!! Did manage 1 keeper in the first 2 hours on a Senko off of a dock and riprap. With 1.5 hrs to go, I fished the docks near the State Park Ramp. With .5 hr to go, I lost one about 2.5 pounds on a tube. With 15 minutes left I caught a 3 and 4 pounder off the docks on a tube. I ended up with 3 bass that weighed 8.72 and a BB of 4.03 pounds. Second had 1 fish for 3.44 pounds. Only 7 guys weighed in a fish. I have only fished 3 of the 4 tourneys but I have won 2 and finished 3rd in the other one. So far my best year yet!!!!!
