Why did they lower KY Lake below summer pool for Memorial Day Weekend?
May not have been enough rain. Been dryer than heck here and south of here.

I've never understood the reasons why they mess with the lake levels at Ky Lake in the way that they do. Dave Stewart will know what is going on and why.

maybe because of lack of rain plus might have to be generating power with these hot temps, not for sure though
There is not much water coming down the chain of rivers, i have a very good friend from Ala and he told me the same thing about Guntersville, it is low also, Pickwick is also low. The rivers below Ky and Barkley is as low as i have seen them in a long time so they arent letting much water go threw the dams.
