Anyone with a L2 case still???

I would really like a measurement from the tip of the nose to the back of the case, in other words the length of the bullet. Thanks in advance.

so, the L2 is 17" long, the M2 is 17" long, and the XP is 20 " long. I wonder if the XP being longer will hurt or help. In other words when is it too long you know what I mean.

Ahh but it is the angle of the dangle that make the difference.

I'm betting its gonna be like putting a sportmaster on a 250 behind a Ranger (no offense). But unless you have serious enough horsepower and a efficient hull to allow those horses to run......its just gonna slow you down due to increased hydrodynamic surface area. The question that needs to be asked is what is the diameter of the M2 vs the L2. Just my .02

The L2 is about 3/16" of an inch smaller than the M2 in diameter. I know what your saying nate but to be honest with you the phoenix hull is vey effecient. I was damn near at 80 with the L2 and could have busted it if I would have had a 25 fury.

    Logan,

Get in touch with MArty on the Phoenix board. He sells both Phoenix and Bullets so he has a good Idea on set-up for a basser and a High Performance style hull.
Coning/LWP you L/U would be like him setting up a Phoenix with a 250xs/SPortmaster.

I would bet he would they have never set-up a Phoenix like that. I would even venture that with a 300xs they would still go with a Torquemaster lower-unit. The Phoenix may be effecient, but its still HEAVY.

Pick his brain and see what you can come up with. Here is a link that may give you an idea of what I amtalking about:

Good Luck, I hate it that you are fighting this issue. I would be just as disappointed if I lost so much performance due to a defective product design
