    C'land Ramp update

I drove to the ramps close to me, only Lee's Ford is still in the water.
    Gen. Burnside Island is out
    Waitsboro is out
Conley as was stated closed for repairs
    Beaver Creek Marina out
didn't go to C'land Point, but I've heard it's dry
New ramp off Slate Branch at Needle Point is out (which is not cool, some locals told me they had enough ramp for 670 )
I'm lucky I just live 2.5 miles from Lee's Ford.

i talked to the mountain div. director for the bfl today. he told me he has been in contact with conley every day now. he told me that this morning they told him the repairs would be done in time for the bfl. so i dont know what all they are gonna do but it should be re-opened shortly.

They told the FOM director it would be back open in time for their tourney but no one would be allowed to load with big motor. They are doing a temp fix with gravel until they can pour but I do not see anyway possible to get that pad poured b4 march 3rd. I bet conley tries to have it and no big motor loading, no that wont take FOREVER with one maybe two lanes and 200 boats. You know they are going to bend over backwards to not lose that $1000 in launch fees.

I heard today that Beaver is planning on extending their ramp hopefully by May 1st. I'm going to drive down to Fall Creek this Fri. evening. I'll post an update unless someone beats me to it.

    Re: C'land Ramp update (mcorr)

Lakeview's about 6' high and dry last I heard, a lady at Beaver told me their ramp is dry. I called her, didn't drive there. Good friend of mine lives 1/2 mile from C'land Point, I'll verify with him tomorrow. I heard the old Fall Creek ramp is open but the new one is closed.....I'll go see as soon as I can get loose.

F and T is across from Cumberland Point if you are at Conely and heading into Monticello it is back on the right. I cant remember the names on the street (maybe cumberland ridge) but I am sure you can find it on a map. You have probably seen people launching there before it is a large flat area on the south side you will want a 4X4 and you should have no problems.

Ohhhh, yeah I know exactly where youre talking about. Just have no idea how to get there by vehicle. Have you put in there before? If so can you tell me how to get there? Thanks, Drew.

    Re: C'land Ramp update (flippindrew)

    Drew try this link
    http://maps.yahoo.com/;_ylc=X3...mag=4

If you are on 1275 on the way to Conely from Monticello look for Cumberland Ridge Road on the left. If you are coing from Burnside you can turn right on Fall Creek rd first right past past the entrance to Conely off of 1275 then turn right on Cumberland Ridge.
Hope this helps it has been a while since I have been down there but we used to launch there alot.

    Re: C'land Ramp update (BulletBurton)

They moved Alligator 1 over to Alligator 2 is all I know. Talked to a guy who has his boat down there at 2. He said even with winter pool there is about 20' below where his boat is.

I Heard from Craig Shoe's Corps office yesterday. He said that 10 corps ramps should be usable by mid-April at the latest.
