Need to get my Twins synced.

Just bought a new boat with twin 2004 DI 225s. The problem I'm having is the the motors arn't synced 100%. THe dealer says they got it as best they could because the adjustment is only on the motor side.

Can anyone tell me if I can adjust the throttle cable on the binnacle side? If not, how can I adjust the linkage on the motor side?

    Thanks,

    Dae

Remove the cowl and on the right side where the shift and throttle cables come in there is a large black knurled knob that lets you adjust the throttles linkage. The Binnacle end is fixed. You will have to play with the adjustment, I haven't played with duals since the well I won't go there . CM

Didn't you just recently tell me about synchronizing the harnesses on Fred Flinstone's dual dinosaur rig?

    Hey Mike,

What do you expect from a couple of old farts, a red-headed step child, and comments from those in the peanut gallery?
