Friend asked for help. My knowledge of Johnson/Evinrude Motors is a set screw to shaft linkage under cowling. Please help me to locate this connector before I drop lower unit. I see two bolts holding the shift linkage in place. Do I remove these bolts? There is very limited room to work near shift linkage. Your help is appreciated. Oh, serial # is 05041451. Offer any suggestions and things to avoid or DO's and DON"T
