FredG20x2 and I are heading to lake Erie (ruggles reef area) and hope to get some of those whole class smallies. If anyone has been there lately and has suggestions, I am listening![]()

Can't give you any suggestions on fishing Mark...just keep your eyes on the weather. Erie can get...as you well know...very nasty at times.![]()

Talked to the guys at Cranberry marina and they said it shouldn't be too bad 10 to 15 knot west winds 1 to 2 footers ... plus I am less than 1000 yards from the marina ... if it gets too rough we will trailer over to East Harbor (protected) .... I hear the largemouths are jumping in boats over there.... will post tomorrow night our results.![]()
Trip canceled ... 21 knot NE winds gusting to 30 .... staying home to fish for 12 inchers instead :(
