Maybe this has come up already, but the I just saw that the HOT was cancelled on Patoka today...That will put a big kink in their schedule...Hope the water goes down a little before next weekend...Got the IBF there next Sunday...

A nig tourney went out of the state park at Rough today. 42 boats anyway. Took 19 pounds to win and 12 to get a check. Big Bass was over 6. They said the weather wasn't that awful down there. Looked pretty bad here though.
Was it cancelled because of high water or bad weather?
They said, because of both, but I was there and the lightning was going NUTS!!! The water rose 6 ft in about 20 Hours!!!
That weather came through Nicholasville as well but when I looked at the radar I saw Cumberland was in the clear. I just made the mistake of fishing the Eastern side of the lake. Think I am going to work by Wolf Creek Dam this weekend.

Yeah, it was pretty crazy... The water lookie about like chocolate milk just about everywhere we went. The back of Painter Creek almost looked like white-water rapids, between the rushing water and all the debris. It'll be a while before the water is back to normal clarity... We did, howerever manage a couple of keepers on Sat. though...
Check out the graph of water level and flow. At the extreme right side is today, so you can see what a sudden deviation it made.

Worst chit I ever fished in. You wouldnt believe the trash in the lake. First time and the last the hair on my arms and the back of my neck stood up before a big bolt hit close to me on Sat. Had around 18lb Friday and didnt get a bite Sat. Dumbest thing I think Ive ever done fishing Sat.
