    Suggestions for Rough River

I am heading down early tomorrow and staying at the Pine Tree Inn for 2 days of good ole fishing. So glad the low pressure front could come in this weekend to make things possibly tough for me.

Does anyone have some suggestions on where to find the fish down here. Planning on working the channels up in the creeks. This is my first time to Rough so I am going to spend tonight studing a topo really close to figure out where I need to go.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Billy most of the creeks should be about done turning over, on the South leg of the lake check out Little Clifty,Walters creeks fish the flats in the backs of these creeks, as mentioned the water is on drawdown so while running the South leg stay a good distance off the bank as their are numerous semi truck size rocks that are just under or will be breakin the surface soon

With the lake dropping in depth how bad is this going to effect the fishing? I know when they drop Herrington the fishing turns AWFUL!! Is it even worth giving this lake a try right now? From all the reports over the last few weeks this seemed to be the one producing the most fish.

Oh yeh, when did the creeks start turning over? A few years ago Cumberland just turned over the same weekend we scheduled a striper guided trip. Needless to say we caught absolutely nothing.

Billy: What is your cell number. Me and JSC25 might be heading down there this weekend. Maybe we can meet up. I emailed you my cell number.
