    My wife is so lucky!

She took a trolling motor class yesterday and today she took a class about baits. Must be nice to get paid for that while I am at work all day!

You should have worked out a deal to teach that class!!. You could have cashed in, Dude! Ask if she gets any bonus $$$ for FIELD TESTING.

Wow! Will she come home and teach you so you can get competitive? Lucky, lucky man to have wife working at BPS. Next you will get a Nitro sponsorship.

If she does come home and show me some stuff I will pass this knowledge along to you Buck. It is funny though that she says most of the people that have been hired don't know the first thing about this stuff.

Mike, maybe she gets so good to be sponsered. Free baits, rods, lures and the passes you in her new Nitro prototype ride at your next tourney.

Passes me in a NItro? Joe, we are dreaming aren't we? My wife and I bought our first fiberglass boat at Bass Pro in cincinnati some years back. They probably owe us some baits, etc for the hassle. Wouldn't that be great though. I could be a house-husband.

Re: My wife is so lucky! (mikedaleo)

    Funny story!!!

Bob20 and I fished a small evening T one time. The guy running the T had a 17ft Nitro with 90hp Force on it. We showed up with Bob's Stratos. He stood out in the lot and went on and on adn on about his buddy's Bass Cat was such a piece of crap, rough riding, slow.....pretty much a joke of a boat. We just look at each other and laugh. The next week we showed up with my boat. 19ft Pantera w/200 EFI that has quite a bit of "massaging" done to it. Pulled in and parked and just stared at this idiot. He wouldn't say a word to us.

Everytime Bob and I fish together in rough water, or make a run across the lake it's a standing joke............"Just think how much of a smoother faster ride that would have been if we had a 17 ft Nitro with a 90!!"

Re: My wife is so lucky! (Dbl00CustomBaits)

Hey Damon, my first fiberglass boat was in fact a 17.5 foot Nitro with a 90 merc. While I was happy to be fishing out of a bassboat, I can tell you that it beat the living hell out of me and couldn't get out of it's own way. Not knocking Nitros, I know a guy that has a 929 that seems like a really nice boat, but you'd never here me bragging about anything that old boat would do.

Re: My wife is so lucky! (Joe Skeeter)

I was already obsessed Joe. I had been looking at Nitros since I was stationed in Korea in 1988. The only mail I got was that damn BPS catalog, so when I saved up enough money I bought one. Then I started learning more about Bassboats in general and realized that I was way too obsessed to own a 17.5 footer with a 90 merc

Your kiddin' right. Your wife works for BPS. You are the luckiest S.O.B..

With the savings you'll get you can quit your job and just do mail orders for BBC'ers and rake the profits....
