Yep I been there a few times . Try usin a wacky worm , senko in the weed lines and open pockets , crankbait on the first break from 5 to 12 feet. This lake can turn on![]()

fish it all the time its only 11 miles from my house and we have a family house on it just of to the left from the city ramp about halfway through the bay.
anyway the water is approaching high 70s low 80s the bite is getting tough after the sun gets high in the ski.
we have been having luck just out from the dropoffs along the weed edges.
with a spinnerbait and a ribbontail worm the worm has been really hot as of late.
I have not fished it this week yet but I will say the weeds are comming everywere and they just sprayed for milfoil. try the flat on the west side of long island just before it dropps of throw shallow and drag it out I know it sound backwards but it has produced.
also try the head of the lake early and late as the fish school up on the top been hooking them on the toad be carefull dont run up there fast and keep a eye on the graph cuzz when it comes up it comes up right now and there are a couple stumps my buddy never misses lol.
also try the east shore right in front of the elks lodge. there is a really deep channel through there and holds some fish. fish the whole bank and out from the elks right on around south there are some good fish in there.
good luck and there is NO RUNNING GAS OR ELECTRIC IN THE NEWLY BUOYED
PRAIRE FINE IS 500.00 I HEAR IT IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE MOOSE LODGE AND CONSIST OF 46 ACRES DONT GET CAUGHT IN THERE WITH ANYTHING BUT A POLE.

went last night, fished till about 1:30 this morning, caught at least four limits, biggest one was about three pounds. The water was 80 degres, and slighlty stained. We had the best luck, on the bank that comes out of the back ramp (not sure what that one is called). Started off in the channel but only caught a few short fish, then went to the bank the Elk's in on. (when the boat traffic died down.). mostly caught the keepers on a black spinnerbait, and weightless senko's.
