Will this be an evey year thing at Guntersville during the month of May? I'm new to the board, and just stumbled across this. Is it a once a year deal?

The Rally is a once a year thing and there is no guarantee it will always be at Guntersville. I hope it is, but I know other lakes have been mentioned. Also, we do have an Alabama Bass Club on here that has a tournament the third Saturday of each month. The members vote for which lake they want to fish each month. Check it out and come join us. I don't get to make near as many as I'd like, but they are always fun.

If the rally is at Guntersville again next year, in early May again, MAN...I'm there! There is good fish usually hitting about that time of year over there. Just have to know where to look. Me and my Dad used fish over there about that time of year, and would catch a limit of largemouth that the smallest one would still be over 5 lbs. caugth alot of 7 to 8 lbs. over the years over there at that time of year. I'm pretty sure they would still be there! Everytime I drive through over there, I never see anybody fishing "the spot"!

Well Kevin, you just missed fishing Guntersville X2. Not only did we have our rally there in May, our club fished it on June 17th also. Like Jason said, check out our club forum and fish with us each month on one of Alabama's lakes.

I'll have to check it out for sure!!! I have never fished in a club before, what do I need to do? All I ever fished was wildcat tournaments, and 95% of them are at night. Fished some open tournaments on Guntersville during day light hours, but not many. My Dad used to fish ALOT of club tourneys and I fished as his partner, but this is MY first "real" boat. So I am wearing it out!!!!
