    Trailer Lights Trouble

Man oh man I am really having trouble with this one . Suddenly my trailer lights are not working at all ... none of them except brake lights . My running lights , side markers nothing . This is on a Bass Cat 1998 trailer that I have never had a single issue with . They were all working yesterday. I have crawled all around and looked for loose connections and cant seem to find anything. Can someone point me in the right direction , electrical is my weakest deal. Whats puzzling is that the brake lights are still working perfectly .

Look at the fuses on the tow vehicle.. Some times they are inside the vehicle, sometimes under the hood... Look for trailer running/parking lights. Thats if it's not at the plug connection or bad brown wires. Your ground must be fine for the brakes to work correctly. Thats a seperate circuit.

Also, don't trust the fuse map on your truck. Mine was mislabeled. Check them all! Good luck.

Update . So I went ahead and checked my fuses today in ,my truck and well guess what burnt fuse . Changed it out and now everything is working perfectly except my passenger side tail light and corner light .Passenger side side markers , brake lights , blinkers all working just not the running or tail lights whatever you want to call them . I even have a new passenger side tail light from bass cat ,plugged it in still the same . Blinkers and brake lights good , no running lights. Checked all grounds again and all are good. Drivers side everything is working perfectly. Any Ideas or suggestions ? You guys have already been a tremendous help but I need a little more .

Is your tow vehicle a recent model GM truck by any chance?

    Re: (ReelDoc)

I have a 2001 Tahoe and I would go back to the trailer with a test light and trace the power back to that corner.,sound like a connection problem, Note start at the plug and after the plug then to the corner.
    Thanks

Might be blown bulbs.. Check for power at the fixtures.

    Re: (21XDC)

Your running lights for the right and left side are all fed from the same source so it leads me to believe that the wires going down that side of the trailer have been pinched and broken somewhere in the run down that side of the trailer, probably somewhere near the hitch.
