i have a 96 19 ft astro my trailer is at the point where it needs alot of work i found a 2000 19ft ranger trailer for 400 bucks can you guys tell me if my boat will work on a ranger trailer?

You should be able to obtain the specifications for the Ranger trailer directly from Ranger. Assuming you already know your specs on your Astro then it is just a paper exercise in comparing specs. Most trailers have some adjustment at the winch stand to accomodate slightly larger or shorter boats. The big thing really boils down to the width between the fenders and the leaf spring carrying capacity.

i tried that and ranger told me the only way to know is swap them and see if it fits so i guess thats what ill do the only thing that needs to be moved is the iside bunk my keel is 15 inches wide and the trailer is 12 other than that all the measurements says it will fit,i was mainly concerned with the side bunk and the way it will ride on the trailer my trailer has the side bunks for guidance and the ranger just has the sort of angled fender bunk i didnt know if that matters on how i t will ride on the trailer
