    Trailer Issues

I noticed that my trailer wasnt stopping right and brakes werent working properly. I bled the brakes and when pushed back against actuator it locked wheels, hooked up to the truck without the plug and it doesnt stop going forard or backward and can back it up an incline without being hooked up.
What can it be? Maybe a bad master cylinder? Need some help guys!
    Thanks

How far can you push the tongue in? Have you kept the slides lubed? It may be binding up when the tongue weight is put on it.

You most likely still have air in the system. Lower the nose of the trailer and bleed uphill. Use a screwdriver in the access hole on the bottom of the actuator to pump the pushrod with one hand while holding up on the release tab. Air will natually migrate to the highest point, the calipers. Once you get fluid only, you should be able to test it again unplugged. If you get the same results, you most likely have a pinhole leak in the system. On tube trailers often the brake line will chafe on weld slag left from welding the crossmembers in. You can't see a leak and it will evaporate before exiting the tube. You would have to air test the lines or test with an exterior line to be certain.

    Re: Trailer Issues (DABS)

On a system like that I like to back bleed the brake lines. Go to a farm and ranch store and get a large syringe for giving cattle shots and some clear line. I've had good luck doing it this way.
