Find a 2" or 3" drop to borrow. Try it out temporarily and see how it looks. If it is not right then it is easier to calculate with a known height .

Wheel size, tire size and 2WD vs. 4WD all affect it a little. I have a 2" drop on my F150 4WD with 17" wheels and factory tires.

My 2010 F150 SCREW FX4 requires a 4" drop to get my Cat trailer level.
