Depends on the tire.Inflate to max though. Marathons are rated to 60lbs if you pull over 65 mph or are pushing the weight limit.

My load class B Marathons called for 35 psi
My load class C Marathons call for 50 psi
Read the side wall and run what the mfg reccomends.
what the tire says
marathons are junk! but most mfg's say add 10 psi to the max if you run over 65 mph and change tires every 4 years. i have had 3 blowouts this year on 2 different trailers!
Have run Marathons for 10 years on various boats, nary a problem. Best trailer tire on the market, bar none. Most boats come with them for a reason. Run the pressure listed on the tire and you'll be fine.
Check your trailer, most have a tag that gives the recommended pressure.

No wonder you have had two blow outs, running 10 psi over at hwy speeds. Hwy speeds create higher heat which in turn raises the psi. one pound for every 10 degrees.
You may also be over loading the tires.Don't know what your haulin but I agree that Marathons have been a good trailer tire for years.![]()
