Had some issues losing fluid and today after trying to bleed the brakes discovered that the main brake line is leaking somewhere inside the tube trailer. Can this line be obtained locally or do I need to order it from ez-loader? 02 ZX225 skeeter with ez-loader trailer.
You should be able to get a line locally at an auto parts store, Take out the line and take it with you to the store so they know the size you'll need.
Thanks, no luck at the auto parts stores. Only had 3Â sections and I needed one that is 15Â. I ordered one and it should be here any day now.
This line just rusted out and leaked fluid inside the frame. The only way I noticed a leak is when the fluid started to leak at the drain hole in the back of the trailer. My trailer is rusting from inside out and it never been in salt water. What a piece of junkÂ
Rich, I have replaced 3 steel brake lines that runs down the inside of my MFI tubed trailer. The last line I ran around the inside of the frame tube and not through the tube. I haven't had any problems since I did that.
I also found after I did this last line replacement a place that has flexable brake lines. http://recstuff.com/Trailer-Brakelines.aspx They have a lot of different lengths and their prices were actually cheaper than the steel lines.

Just got this line replaced and brakes work fine. Thanks for the info but with some luck this line should last for a while.
