Anybody Tow With

2010 Chevy Tahoe...5.3 V8...3.42 gears. Tow Pkg...6 speed hydramatic transmission with range select...Tow/Haul feature?
Would appreciate information on what range selection you tow with on the highway and overall likes and dislikes as far as towing performance.

Well, I just bought a 2010 GMC Savana conversion van with a 5.3 V8, 3.42 gears and tow/haul feature. I towed my Ranger 619, about 4500 lbs, for the first time last week. Towed the boat about 50 miles in drive and thought the van towed the boat pretty well. Most of the road was pretty level with some minor change in the grade of the road. I'll get a better idea during the fishing season as to how well the van tows the boat. I had a 2000 chevy van for 10 years with a 5.7 and 3.73 gears and had to drive in 3rd gear all the time. I need the van for the seating as I have 4 teen age and older kids and I didn't like the 3rd row seating in the Tahoe or Suburban.
