I have seen a thread here on a mechanic device that automatically attatches/locks onto to your bow eye when you drive your boat onto the trailer and hit the front stop.
Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks!!!

It is called a Boat Buddy. BPS carry them. Here is the link. I have a New One I'll sell you for a 21 foot boat for $50 plus shipping if you want one.

I had a little trouble with one I bought a few years ago. When I would pull the boat on the trailer, it would engage just fine. But as I pulled the trailer out of the water, the boat would slip back on the trailer just a bit. When this happened, the bow eye would bind the capture pin just a bit against the locking mechanism. Even when I refloated the boat, it would not release the bow hook of the boat. So anyway, I took it off and went back to the strap.
Maybe they have changed the design and they work better now.
Good luck.
