i have a 94 tandem rangertrail i am working on fixing up. just put new bunks on. when i make a sharp turn i notice some poping or creeking noises, i think its from the leafs or the bushings. the previous owner told me he had put brass bushing in it. also when i was doing my bunks i noticed there where zirk fitting for the leaf bushings...do these need oil? is this normal for tandems?

If he put the brass bushing in the springs, then you need to shoot a couple of squats of grease from a grease gun in the zerk's. They didn't come that way from Ranger, he had to replace them like he said. This may stop your creeking and popping some, but all duel axle trailers have to some degree a creeking and popping in turns because you are putting one axle in a bind when you make a turn.
makes sence/ off to home depot to get a grease gun...

I replaced the bolts on all the suspension componets on my trailer with ones that have zerk's and grease them regularly. As stated they don't come that way.
