    Rusting Reservoir Diaphragm

I have a A60 Actuator on my boat, question? Is it normal for the Reservoir to be very, very rusty, almost to the point of rusting through? The boat was bought new in 2006 a 206 Elite.

Not really unless your trailer lives in the saltwater, then it might be normal.

Flush out the system and refill with DOT 3 for moisture protection.

You'd better flush that dude in a hurry! This spring, the rust in mine caused a blockage in my brake line, and didn't allow one of the brakes to disengage.

The rotor got extremely hot, and caused the oil in my COOL hub to spew out - I saw a HUGE cloud of white in my mirror when that happened! When the oil hit the rotor it caught fire! I quickly got stopped, scrambled into my rod locker, got the fire extinguisher, and luckily put the fire out before it spread to the carpet/wood on the trailer wheel well.
