I have a single axle trailer for my 18' Stratos 1996 torsion not springs. Due to nails or debris I have 1 new tire and 1 about 3 years old. Like many they tend to wear in the most inside rib. The 3 year old tire has about 50% tread depth on the most inner rib and I bet 95% on the outer. Would dismounting and remounting swapping direction give me any issue?
It will cause the wheel to spin in the opposite direction. I'm worried about belt failure.
It just seems that we rotate our car tires for better life how about our boat trailers?
