    2006 Ranger Trail brake noise

I just got my boat out of storage for the winter. After going down the road I could hear what sounded like a loose brake caliper. The passegner side was warm like maybe a caliber was sticking but the other side was fine. If the passenger side caliper was sticking would it cause the driver side caliper to be loose? I am new to ranger trailers. Any ideas? Thanks.

Bleed your brakes and by all means put a wrench on the mounting bolts. They should be torqued to 55 ft lbs. If just the pads are rattling, it may be a simple matter of bleeding the brakes.

Thanks for the info. What is the best way to bleed the brakes?

Bench bleed the master cylinder per Lyn's instructions above. Then lower the nose of the trailer and bleed uphill per the bleeding instuctions in the manual. If you do not have and owners manual, you can download it at ufpnet.com under the actuator tab. Bleeding instructions are on pages 22-25.
