    stop the towing receiver clunk

tied of the receiver bar clunk? try this

Go to a hobby shop and get the big shrink wrap for making nicad battery packs and put a good piece over the reciever bar and shrink it down. Slide or tap it in then pin it and no more clunk. Coating with light grease will help with the install

Or drill a hole in the bottom of the receiver tube, tap it, and put a bolt in to stop the movement.

Makes it easier to change if multiple ball mounts are used for different trailers.

    Or use an anti-rattle bracket.

I have one of these and it works great. I almost never change ball size.

Or weld the dang thing .

Since all of my trailers for work and play are about the same height I just tack my receiver and let it go.

I just use 1 layer thick of electrical tape around the receiver.Only have to change it one time during the season!

wedge a penny in it works pretty well too, plus only cost pennies for a quick fix
