There is a bunch of information out there to form your own opinion. My opinion is any company that makes and sells enough tires are going to experience problems from time to time. The frequency at which these problems occur will determine the quality of their manufacturing. We have been selling LoadStar tires for a long time. Any problems we have had with them have been few and far between. We just started selling Carlisle tires as well. They have two brands they sell under one imported and one made in the USA. The USA trail tires we stock from them are more expensive because they are manufactured in Carlisle, PA. The larger radial tires are imported. Give us a call if you want to talk tires 1.800.453.7379.

I personally have always used Marathons, and never had any problems what so ever......
My 6 ply rated Marathons have solved my trailer tire problems. I blew out several other makes. Just my 2 cents worth. It's hard to make launch times while changing tires in the dark.
ive had marathons on my last 2 boats.not a problem out of them.imo the best trailer tire goin!
My past four boats have had merathons. No problems at all. I had my first boat for 9 years and had not a problem. never did anything but put air in them once a year.![]()

I like the maxxis trailer tires myself..they have been great for me
I had three blow-outs on the Goodyears. I don't know if it was the tire that was at fault. If you store your boat outside, you have to keep the tires covered. The UV rays from the sun will destroy the rubber. The side walls will get brittel and it will blow out. I bought a set of RV tire covers for my dual axle trailer and my two year old tires look brand new.
Have had Marathons for many years without any problems.
