Goodyear recommends changing out trailer tires every 3 years regardless of the miles. If I was going to pull to Canada, I'd sure change them, better safe than sorry sitting along side of a interstate or single highway trying to change a tire or find someplace to buy one. Been there done that and it is not fun.

All the above and don't wait till the last minute to put them on. Go ahead and buy soon so you have time to detect any problems that might show up with the new ones. A bad one will get by Q C from time to time.
