    Cool Hubs

    The previous owner of my boat did away with the cool hubs on my Ranger Trail and put in bearing buddies. I would like to put the oil bath cool hubs back on. Do I need to change the entire hubs or can I just take out the bearing buddies and reinstall the oil bath? I am not familiar at all with these so any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I believe you have to change the hub, but I'm not 100%. Call Lyn on Monday and he'll be glad to help you.

    If you still have the hubs with the fill plugs, you can do it. Call me for specific sealing procedures on Monday...800-854-1905 ext.107..
