    2011 Bow Tech 350 Destroyer

I just bought a brand new 2011 Bow Tech 350 Destroyer. It is loaded, $150.00 HHA sight, $100.00 Rip Cord arrow rest, Fusion stabilizer, G5 quiver, kisser button, peep and more. It is the Black 60# model in a 29 inch draw which can be changed. Still has the tags on it, only shot it at the store to sight it in. I have over $1100.00 in it and am probably going to have to sale it due to an old shoulder injury. I know I will have to take a huge loss.

Any thought on what to ask for it? Thanks

I would guess around the 900-1000 range. Check out e-bay and watch some that are selling. It is almost that time and they are solid bows so you may come out ok.

    I know I love my D340!!

usually a used bow is at least 40% off what you paid for it retail in the first year if you want to sell it fast enough. after the first year the price degrades very quickly beyond that. good luck.

Unfortunately I bought this bow just a few weeks ago. I should have tried to shoot a little bit more (since I've had shoulder surgery) before buying a new bow. I may go back to the store and see if they will give any type of refund. I don't mind to lose $200-250 but before I lose any more than that I will just keep it for conversation.

The base price of the bow by itself is $900 plus tax( with no accessories). This bow is brand new and if I could get 850 I would probably let it go.

Do you think it is worth that?

It's most likely worth it but it's going to be a tough sell. Have you considered calling Bowtech and getting a set of lighter limbs for the bow? You could still shoot 3-D and do some hunting even with significantly less poundage.

Go low poundage. A 40lb bow shoots with the energy of the 70 lb bows I started with,

Any chance of pleading with the place of purchase and telling them you'd be happy to pay a 15% restocking fee for the inconvenience? That would probably still equal less than the hit you'd have to take to sell it!

I talked to them last week. They are going to allow me to bring it back and give me credit on a new gun purchase! I have bought a lot of things from them they are taking care of me on this issue.
