Congrats on two great looking deer. I have been trying for 3 years now to kill one with the bow. I haven't even picked up the rifle either. I am trying to get it done with a bow. I bet you were pumped.

It took me several hours to come down after shooting my first one with my bow. I finally hunted with my rifle this year because I went about 3 years without shooting one. Shooting one with a rifle was no where near as intense as the bow.

Congrats! Very nice deer! My daughter killed her first this year w/ her bow and is hooked! It is an accomplishment that is worth working for! And it never gets old!!

thanks all....hunting for me has taken a complete 180...There's another buck I've been huntin' for 3 years now that isn't a management buck like this one. I have more footage and have lost more sleep over this buck...The owner of the ranch will only allow him to be taken by rifle for whatever reason...I love that buck...I dream of that buck...but I guess I have lost complete interest if I can't hunt him with my bow.
