    my 2009 whitetail

Not my biggest deer. I thought he was a lot bigger because of the long points. had some serious ground shrinkage but I am happy to have him. I wish I would have shot him with my bow, giving me some gratification and justification for shooting a 3 1/2 year old deer.

I wouldn't be disappointed in him. Nice deer. I know ya'll probably kill'em a lot bigger. But IMO definitely nothing to be ashamed of!

Love those crab-claws up front and it looks like he has nice symmetry.

He'll make a great Euro mount or, with the right form, a very pretty shoulder mount.

Either way, if you had a good hunt, don't worry so much about about him not being in his 5th or 6th December. If you took him legally and had a quality experience doing so, therein lies your trophy.

There are hunters all across this country who would love the chance to see one like that while on stand.

    Congrats on your buck!
