Seriously, I will be getting back to walking a couple of miles every day. Makes a world of difference when I'm dragging a deer back to the truck........![]()

Started working out and running everyday except weekends a few years ago to prevent heart disease so I stay in pretty good shape. I do agree 100% it makes hunting easier and more enjoyable. Great advice.![]()
ya, I have a hunt in colorado...I have decided to get back into the gym today. gonna lift weights and then do the treadmill thing. no fun with treadmills but you gotta do it. Then on weekends I will walk our farm and go up and down the hills with a backpack on. Hot, yes but worth it.

I workout all year. One just never knows what will come up. I cycle 25-30 miles a day this time of year, and it's the pedaling kind. Usually doing 150+ miles a week.
Whoa...that is a lot of exercise. Do you do all of that AND fish?
I'm preparing for Colorado with running, basketball(full court), and will be hiking real soon.![]()
okay, okay... last cast, after this one.
Starting by scouting and walking about 3 miles in the evening. Will build up to a brisk jog in a week or so.
