welp opening day was very rewarding today!!! Shotgun turkey season opened here in kansas today and man was it awesome! Set up the full body peepin tom and pretty penny, or whatever its called, and had a quick opening morning!!! by 6:45 we had a 25 lb tom about to kick the crap out of our decoy before he got laid out by my buddies M2!!! he had 2 beards, one 10.5 inches and one 6.5 inches and 1 1/8 inch spurs! Gorgeous bird!

Walked 300 yards behind us where we kept hearin a bunch of gobbles and after 2 sets of clucks a 20lb tom was in my lap! We didnt even get time to set up. We were kneeling in the middle of the opening and he ran straight at us along with 2 other toms! He had an 8.5 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs! Heres some pics!

ya its always nice especially after roostin em and not hearin a thing! i was worried but as you said it just all came together!
