The buck that recieved much attention after being video taped in velvet in august and then shot by a local hunter on Nov. 1st with a bow was offically scored. The buck was thought to rival that of the world record typical, however, the buck was scored as a non-typical, it measured 233 2/8", setting a new state record for largest non-typical taken with a bow.

Personally, I wouldn't have told a soul that I shot that thing. Now, you are going to have some competition for that hunting ground and second that is just inviting theives to rip you off. With that being said, that is one hell of a nice deer and congrats to the hunter that was able to outsmart that giant.
