I am thinking about archery hunting right around Thanksgiving of next year(if I get drawn for a tag). What is the buck activity like during that week. Can I expect to see good bucks or are they settling down to rest by then? Thanks for any info!

you will be just about prime time, rattling will still work pretty well. it should be a great time to go to Iowa. Have you applied already and have preferance point?
I applied only once before and was drawn, unfortunately I didn't end up going. I would apply for zone 3 which I believe is about a 50/50 shot at drawing a tag.

It is a good time, I would prefer a little earlier but it will still work.
