need some help with break in for motor.
i blew my motor had it rebuilt and got it back today, my mechanics break in procedure do not sound like what i have heard in the past, i need some one to tell me proper break in procedure.

no real time at each rpm range just kinda fell it out with short burst up to top end.
i was under the thought that i had to let idel for a while then no more than 2500 rpm's for a while then the same for each 1000 rpms above 2500. some one please help give me the proper break in procedure. this time was under warrenty but warrenty runs out in 3 months and i dont want to go with out my boat for another month.

Your mechanic should have set the EMM to break in mode to double oil it, I'd vary the RPM's for the first five hours.
