Nice little bow buck for the kid this morning. Good thing too, we were running out of backstraps. It was his 4th in the last couple years, he's starting to show me up.

oh forgot to mention that this is the first deer we have shot with the "RAGE" mechanical broadhead. We are all giving them a try this year to see if they live up to the hype. The kid shoots 55lbs with his Diamond Liberty with 100 gr. "RAGE" 2-blade. He took him right through the front shoulder and through to the other. Massive entrance wound and probably the best blood trail I've seen in years. No doubt it would heve been a pass-thru if not buried in the other shoulder. I was VERY impressed to say the least. If you can, give em' a try.

vatreefarmer, the shot was not a pass through and the deer broke it off just a few yards from where he was shot. No blood from about 8" below fletchings plus I wanted to keep the pics clean for posting. The opposite shoulder has the massive entrance hole.
