    a shout out to Championman

Through reading the BBC, I have always seen Championman give excellent advice to people on their motors. Recently I had an issue with my boat, and several guys said to speak to Championman and he would set me "straight". In fact, a couple of guys said that I could not go wrong with him working on my boat, he was a great guy, and they would stake their reputation on his ability. Well, I contacted him, drove the boat 75 miles to him, left it with him, and he went to work. Let me tell you, I watched him work. He is a master mechanic, he knows his stuff, he knows the details of mechanical motor repair, and you can tell he has great experience. His repair costs were for the budget boat owner, and he delivered what he said he could do. Now, I will stake my reputation on him. He is my mechanic for life. My boat could not run better ! Thanks Fred ! Mark in Atlanta.

I agree, Championman is very knowledgeable, and a nice guy. Although I have never met him in person, his posts are always right on the money, and he never seems to judge, or demean anyone for asking, what I might think would be a dumb question. Thanks championman for all of your advice in the past!

Agree 100% I have been on this board for 5 years or more and in that time he has gave thousands of dollars worth of advice for free. I appericate Championman and all other techs that give information so people can work on their own motors and ask for nothing in return. If I lived closer he would do all my work.
